How Long Will It Take a Monarch to Get Out of a Box?

Hannah S, Brittany H

Monarch butterflies use their wings for flying and to get away from predators. So monarchs must be able to move quickly. We decided to put butterflies in a box and see how fast they could get out. We found out most of the butterflies were able to get out in less than ten seconds.
