It's Not Easy Being Green

Oslo M, Dain D, Ella C, Mary K, Abigail C, Audrey W, Nicholas R

Garlough Students ponder the question 'Why are some walking sticks green and some brown?' Several hypotheses were created including, coloration is dependent upon proximal time of molt, surroundings (camouflage), or age of the walking sticks. Students designed experiments to test their hypothesis and compare results. A research website has also been developed and each participant is responsible for inputting information on his or her page.
